So far, so good

Happy 4th of July or something. We are enjoying the rainy day inside and excited for Brooke and Patrick’s arrival tonight. This is the third week Katie has been on treatment and so far, it has not been too bad. Mild nausea after taking Kisqali but much better after a nap. Her white blood cell count has dropped quite a lot, but it is on the very low end of normal. We are hoping that it will stay around the current number. Blake returned to work last week, and we are starting to settle into our new normal.

We want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who reached out or donated to our meal train / Venmo. It has been a great relief and feel the love from the community. Katie has an appointment with her oncologist on the 16th and we will have more updates at that time. But for now, we are all doing pretty well.
